This meeting will run for a 2.5-hour period on a single day using Zoom, with a combination of breakout rooms for networking and guest speakers delivering technical content.

Due to the inevitable issues with bringing members together across multiple time zones, the only feasible option for cross time-zone meetings is to hold them from 14:00-16:30 GMT.

Further details on this event will follow in due course.

We will be utilising breakout rooms within the event to give you a choice of which of the concurrent keynote session you will join on the day, while both sessions will be available on our website after the event.

Dan McMahon – Increasing the Firm’s Value During Busy Season
Dan McMahon founded Integrated Growth Advisors in 2011 with the goal of providing objectivity and guidance to CPA firm owners who are serious about achieving growth. Dan’s 30 career includes 20 years in public accounting and 10 years as a consultant to the accounting industry.  Dan’s work is notable in working to address the issues that confront the public accounting profession from the perspective of next generation transitioning and building partner equity value by creating a firm rooted in structure, process and a cultural commitment to achieving goals.

Accountants in public practice are constantly on the run, serving the needs of many stakeholders, juggling multiple priorities, and addressing whatever initiative or project requires immediate attention.  The path of least resistance gravitationally pulls accounting firm owners away from what matters most to a business owner—the valuation of the firm.  The value of your firm is more than just a theoretical price tag. It’s the single most important measure of your success as a collective team of partners and business owners.  Firms that are committed to building a sustainable and transferrable business sometimes find that focusing on firm value can be overwhelming as the challenges keep coming faster and faster. Those who succeed not only achieve higher performance, but they also increase the valuation of their firms. This session will address that a sustainable and transferable is a valuable firm and explore how your busiest season is the perfect time to undertake tactics to build a more valuable firm.

Breakout Rooms
We will scheduled 2 x 45 minute roundtable networking sessions using break-out rooms to run either side of our keynote presentations. The first of these sessions will be formed of three 15 minute randomised roundtable discussions. The second hour will be divided into two slightly longer 20 minute sections.

Conference Fees
While it is necessary to charge a small fee to cover the cost of running this event, the pricing will be per member firm, rather than per delegate, and we encourage you to share the details of this event with everybody at your firm. No fees need to be paid upfront, and those firms in attendance will be invoiced after the event.
